NachhaltigkeitsStrategie

Today, attitudes toward sustainability have changed dramatically, and it is virtually a necessity for every successful business to participate in green initiatives. As consumers around the world demand sustainable products in a wide variety of areas, every industry must adapt to meet their needs. It's no different with furniture customers, and sustainable furniture – whether at home, in the office, or at an event venue – has become a highly sought-after product. Kinnls' mission as defined in Kinnls philosophy is to "bring happiness to all," and the vision is "Create your inspired lifestyle." We are always to contribute to the good of the general public, so our business approach is consistent with the vision of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our view of the Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie stems from our desire to do good for society.

How Kinnls react

Five main trends
– Reduced emissions,
– Sustainable funding,
– Sustainable supply chain,
– Circulation solutions,
– Sustainable consumption.

While we focus on making our inner world as comfortable as possible, it is important that we keep the outside world healthy and safe. That is why we implement leading sustainable Herstellungspraktiken and use recycled materials. By finding ways to consume less electricity, water and other resources and reduce the amount of waste we dispose of in landfills, we optimize our processes and put even more value into each product.

1. By keeping the wood dry before burning instead of storing it in the fresh air, we can produce almost twice as much BTU energy from an already green fuel source, making our production in the workshop in California treibstoffeffizienter by burning recycled wood chips and sawdust.

2. Reinstalling the LED lamps has reduced our energy consumption by 60%. Since we no longer have to deal with fluorescent lamps, we no longer have to deal with the source of hazardous waste. An additional advantage is that reinstalling the light bulbs improves visibility throughout the plant, which helps us focus more on wood quality and ultimately leads to a significant reduction in energy consumption.

3. We have a machine that can be used to cut plastic wrap to individual lengths so that enough plastic is saved to stretch it for more than 60 miles. We have also started recycling the Polypropylen-Schutzh s that we have attached to the feet of the furniture. Over the past decade, we have recycled more than 50,000 pounds of material that would otherwise have been, significantly reducing the amount of landfills we generate by packaging furniture.

4. We usees that contain low-volatile organic compounds (low-VOC) and hazardous air pollutants (low-HAP), including many water-basedes for our upholstered furniture. The air stays cleaner, from our workshops to your home. In our upholstered workshops, we start each piece with a hardwood frame, much of which we source from sustainable forestry. Around every frame, our craftsmen wrap CertiPUR US® films with low VOC content. certified fiber cotton and foam - no harmful ozone, carcinogenic flame retardants or formaldehyde, just a basis for years of comfort and coziness.
